Mikołaj Wild

State Secretary for the Government Plenipotentiary for Solidarity Transport Hub, Ministry of Infrastructure, Poland

Mikołaj Wild was born on 4 April 1976 in Warsaw.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw (first class honors degree), German Law School at the University of Warsaw, American Law School at the University of Warsaw and the University of Florida (second class honors degree). Scholarship holder of the Magister iuris comparitivi program in the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.


Mikołaj Wild is the author of several publications and scientific studies.


In the years 2003 - 2006 he worked in the Team of Jurisprudence and Studies of the Constitutional Tribunal Office, where he held the positions of the Senior Consultant, Counselor, and Senior Counselor.


In 2006 appointed a Counsel and in 2009 - Senior Counsel of the General Counsel to the Republic of Poland (previously General Counsel of the Polish Treasury), where he also held the position of the Department Director. He took part in many court proceedings, including over one hundred cases examined by the Supreme Court, cases concerning consolidation of the power engineering sector, open pension funds, implementation of EU law, in cases related to building works, reprivatization cases or class actions.


Active negotiator, among others during negotiations regarding the construction of the National Stadium in Warsaw.


In the years 2008-2017 he was an employee of the Institute of Justice, where in the years 2013-2017 he was the Chairman of the Section of the Constitutional Law, Section of the Civil Law and a member of the Scientific Council.


Lecturer during trainings for judges, prosecutors, attorneys-at-law and attorney-at-law trainees. Long-term lecturer at the Warsaw Bar Association.


In the years 2015-2017, the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Treasury Republic of Poland, where he determined the tasks and supervised the work of the: Department of State Treasury Property, Legal and Litigation Department, Audit and Control Office. As the Undersecretary of State he also exercised personal supervision over companies of the aviation sector, including LOT Polish Airlines S.A.


Participant of the Polish Government delegation in Beijing in April 2016, presenting on behalf of the Council of Ministers the concept of the Central Airport for Poland. In the period from 1 April 2017 to 8 May 2017, the Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister. From 9 May 2017 to 1 February 2018 he was the Secretary of state in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. On February 1, 2018, he was appointed Secretary of state in the Ministry of Infrastructure. On 9 May 2017, he was also appointed the Plenipotentiary of the Government for the Matters of the Central Transport Hub for the Republic of Poland.
